Wild Plant with Magic Cures

This wild medicinal plant has common names Tinospora Crispa but there are numerous synonyms like Tinospora cordifolia, Brotowali, Tinospora tuberculata, Tinospora rumphii, Cocculus crispum, and Menispermum tuberculatum

A climber found in tropical and subtropical India and parts of the Far East, and in primary rainforests or mixed deciduous forests throughout the Philippines, in tropical Asia at altitudes up to 1,000 metres this tropical liana (woody) with shiny green leaf is also widely distributed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

A decoction of the stems, leaves and roots is used to treat fever, diabetic, cholera, rheumatic and snake-bites. In general folklore, the stem decoction is considered antipyretic, useful as an anti-malarial and a wash for skin ulcers

Rheumatism and Icteric – yellow fever
1 finger of Tinopora stem was cut and cleans then boiled with 3 glasses of water makes 1 glass, strain after these water cold. Drink ½ glasses - 3 times each day, you can add with honey as necessary.

Scabies, Cholera
Was clean and pouch 3 finger stalk and a little sulphur, both mixed with coconut’s oil. Spread on the scabies areas

Slice wound or snake bites
Take some leaves, clean and pouch. Stuck on the wound areas

Composition
Alkaloid, glycoside pikroretochid, pikroretin, harsa, berberin and palmatin. The root contained alkaloid berberin, columbine.
